Privacy Policy
This policy covers two things, kept separate below: the Tidepaw app for iPhone, and this website. Both are provided by ABC SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS COMPANY LIMITED ("we", "us"), which is responsible for your information.
Short version: the app collects nothing. Your check-ins stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. On this website, the only personal information we receive is what you send us through the contact form.
Part 1: The Tidepaw app
What Tidepaw stores
- Your daily check-ins: the mood you pick, the anchor you choose, and any note you write.
- Your island: objects, treasures, the day count and the look you picked.
- Your settings, like reminder time and sound.
This is stored on your iPhone. If you use iCloud, Tidepaw also keeps a copy in your own iCloud account so your island comes back after a reinstall and on your other devices. That copy belongs to your Apple Account; we can't see or access it.
The Tidepaw widget shows today's weather, your anchors and your day count. It never shows your notes. On the Lock Screen it shows your mood only if you turn on "Show mood on Lock Screen".
What we collect
Nothing. Tidepaw has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and it doesn't send your information to us or to anyone else. On the App Store this is shown as "Data Not Collected".
Purchases
Tidepaw Premium is sold through Apple. Apple handles payment and your subscription; we don't receive your payment details. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
Reminders
Reminders are notifications scheduled on your iPhone. You can turn them off in Tidepaw's settings or in iOS Settings.
Sharing and export
When you share a weekly card or export your data, it leaves Tidepaw only through the iOS share sheet, to the place you choose. A weekly card includes a note only if you turn on "Include my note" for that share.
Support resources
Tidepaw lists support lines. Tapping one opens your phone app or a website; Tidepaw doesn't send anything.
Deleting your data
Settings ▸ Delete all data removes every check-in and note, your island, your treasures and your day count, on this iPhone and in your iCloud. Deleting the app removes the data on the iPhone; the iCloud copy is removed with Delete all data.
Children
Tidepaw isn't directed at children under 13.
Part 2: This website
No cookies, analytics or tracking
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Fonts and images are served from this site; pages don't load anything from other companies, except that the contact form sends your message to Web3Forms (below).
The contact form
If you contact us through the Support page, your name, email address, topic and message are delivered to us by email via Web3Forms. We use them only to reply to you. Please don't include sensitive details, like your diary notes.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
To see, correct or delete a message you sent, write to us at [email protected].
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
